Susan Kimmel has been with Two Plus Four companies for fifteen years. She has risen from Regional Manager to Vice - President, President, and now majority owner of both Two Plus Four Management and Two Plus Four Construction. In addition to these roles, she is managing general partner of both Lakewood Development and LLC Lakewood Development II, LLC, the development arms of Two Plus Four. She has passed the reins for Two Plus Four Management to her son, David Kimmel, who she appointed president in 2023. She continues to mentor David as well as provide support to both Two Plus Four entities, as well as Lakewood Development III, LLC which is the newest development entity of Two Plus Four.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Sue has sat on the Board of Directors for the National Council for Affordable Rural Housing (CARH). Her active involvement with this organization has helped to nurture sound relationships with USDA Rural Development at both the state and federal levels. In addition, as a member of New York State Affordable Housing Association, Sue also lobbies at the state level and enjoys great working relationships with New York State Housing and Community Renewal.
Sue is a C5P Tax Credit Specialist and holds both S.T.A.R and Fair Housing certificates. In addition, she is also a Certified Occupancy Specialist and she holds a Real Estate Broker’s license. Sue is a graduate of Clarkson University, School of Engineering and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
