Karen Brown

Karen has 14 years of Property Management experience. She started at Two Plus Four Management in 2003 as a Community Manager at Auburn Heights (where she lived for 31 years) and Northbrook Court  Apartments. In 2010, Karen took on two more properties, Elaine Estates and Greenview Hills  Apartments. Karen was then promoted to Regional Manager in 2010 and now has twelve properties in  her portfolio.

Karen has experience with Section 8, Tax Credit and Rural Development Properties. She is the Coordinator for EIV (enterprise Income Verification) and SAVE (Department of Homeland Security’s DHS).  She earned certifications for Certified Housing Manager, Enterprise Income Verification (EIV),  TRACS 202D, STAR (Rural Development), and Fair Housing, and Systems Security Awareness.

Karen has written a maintenance policy and procedure manual that is used throughout Two Plus Four Management. She also wrote the Policy & Procedures for EIV which HUD has been approved by HUD.

Karen is an active member in the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Auburn Wednesday Morning Round Table.  Karen is a graduate of the class of 2017 Leadership Cayuga.
