David Bacon founded Two Plus Four in 1977. His strong leadership guided the Company from its inception to his retirement, upon which his daughter, Susan Kimmel, took over. Dave had a personal real estate portfolio of over 60 projects totaling 2500 units. This provided us with extensive management experience and contributed significantly to the company's current success. His broad real estate and financing background has led the way for over twenty years and is responsible for the company's strong reputation.
Prior to 1977, Dave owned and operated a mechanical contracting company that employed over 150 people and contracted for schools, universities, libraries, and a major beer brewery.
He was a graduate of Cornell University, School of Engineering, and held a Professional Engineering License in the State of New York.
Sadly, Dave Bacon passed away in 2020, leaving the future of the company in the hands of his daughter, Susan Kimmel, and grandson David K. Kimmel.
